I can’t fathom how much more we’ve funded like this!

The problem with USAID is that the accounting books prove waste, fraud, the funding of terrorist, abuse within the agency, funding frivolous projects, funding national atheism abroad, promoting DEI musicals and the funding of transgender modalities, operas and comic books. Less than 1% goes to feeding the hungry. Humanitarian efforts are the least among its goals. If I found my accountant donating our ministry’s foreign missions funds to such efforts - I would fire her overnight, close the program and restart the Biblical method of caring for the needy. - Stephen

I don't understand this bit: Sanad "profited handsomely from the purchase of cement as foreign aid, particularly from USAID, UNRWA and the UN."

The link in that sentence goes to a story that doesn't mention USAID or UNRWA anywhere other than this sentence, which does NOT say they were purchasing cement. In fact, it mentions USAID and UNRWA only to say they SUSPENDED aid:

"Thus, the Palestinian economy maintained its previous growth rate for the year 2018 in spite of the financial crisis that the economy faced . . as well as the continuing decline of external grants and aids, especially the suspension of American aid for government and civil organizations and institutes (UNRWA and USAID)."

Before jumping to conclusions, it's worth taking a step back and noting that:

1. Cement is used to build just about every type of building, not just tunnels.

2. Gaza in 2016 was still trying to rebuild after the 2014 war but lacked the capacity to do so, with Israeli companies limiting the flow of cement into the territory. (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2019-08-15/gaza-needs-to-rebuild-yet-israel-controls-the-cement?sref=m9L277rN)

3. The ability of SANAD to accumulate market share quickly could also be seen as evidence of the need for cement and the lack of existing capacity before its creation.

4. This article provides no evidence that that cement ended up in the hands of Hamas. Sure, it's a reasonable assumption that Hamas uses cement, too, but Gazan company does not automatically equal Hamas.

5. That said, the USAID Office of the Inspector General does highlight the need for Gaza oversight, writing: "USAID OIG has identified Gaza as a high-risk area for potential diversion and misuse of U.S.-funded assistance. It is USAID OIG’s investigative priority to ensure that assistance does not fall into the hands of foreign terrorist organizations including, but not limited to, Hamas." (https://oig.usaid.gov/our-work/gaza-oversight)

6. To that point, a memo from the USAID OIG from a few weeks ago warns of "limitations on vetting of aid organizations for ties to designated terrorist organizations and known corrupt actors." Grantees, however, do go through vetting—the weakness, according to the OIG, is with contractors. The things like these that are coming to light, I think are going to make a lot of people so angry, that indifference will be transformed to anger, & anger will be transformed to shorter fused intolerance, which will lead to active solidarity to back up and support 💩 getting done, like never before. The more that come to understand Enough is Enough, so that Never Again, Means NEVER AGAIN!

The biggest roadblock in that scenario is the enemedia, who have learned nothing from the election. They are still reporting that USAID is an agency which provides food and medical care for underdeveloped countries with nary a word about the corruption.

We need to make sure ourselves that the democrats/leftists in our circle of friends and acquaintances learns the truth.

By the way, can anyone verify why during Netanyahu's last visit to the US there were no reports of large pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli protests regarding his arrival? Is this connected to the fact that USAID funding has been suspended?

Why were we buying the cement back? Was it used in the tunnels or bought back or both?

So your logic and proof USAID funds tunnels is “Unwra gives them money and israel said unwra is helping Hamas” wow.

I researched this story with every intent to publicize it widely, but I do not believe it is correct. As far as I can tell, the only source is that Press House Palestine press release, which is worded strangely ( "the amount of investment will be 310 million$ USAID") . Looking at the Arabic version of the press release, it merely says "310 million US dollars." https://palbas.org/post/820/%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A9-%D8%B3%D9%86%D8%AF-%D8%AA%D8%B9%D9%82%D8%AF-%D9%85%D8%A4%D8%AA%D9%85%D8%B1%D8%A7-%D8%B5%D8%AD%D9%81%D9%8A%D8%A7-%D8%A8%D8%A8%D9%8A%D8%AA-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%A9-%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%88%D8%B6%D9%8A%D8%AD-%D8%AA%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%B5%D9%8A%D9%84-%D8%A5%D9%86%D8%B4%D8%A7%D8%A1-%D8%A3%D9%88%D9%84-%D9%85%D8%B5%D9%86%D8%B9-%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%85

It looks like they had a typo when they did their own translation into English.

I could not find any other mention in English or Arabic of USAID and Sanad for Construction. Also, $310 million is extremely high for a USAID project; they typically spent tens of millions per year in the territories. $310 million is the amount Sanad paid for an entire West Bank factory. There is no way USAID paid for an entire factory from scratch.

(I'm not even certain the factory was ever built.)

Hi, The English and Arabic versions of their articles are not always with the same information, for example their article about the Press House Palestine inauguration, in the English version it did not include the names of the board members, but in Arabic it does.

There are tons of documents that are not accessible anymore from USAID regarding Sanad Construction. You can still find the links when doing a google search but the link is not available anymore. Also many donations are not even named by USAID, NGO monitor spoke about that during an X space.

Where? I found some docs related to USAID but not Sanad the construction company. For example, here's a page about a completely different SANAD, which was an economic development program in Tunisia: https://web.archive.org/web/20211018222727/https://www.usaid.gov/tunisia/program-updates/may-2021-through-sanad-program-usaid-and-baobab-are-committed-supporting-entrepreneurs

The filter is broken on this site, but as you can see, $320M would be waaay more than a typical USAID grant: https://www.usaspending.gov/search/?hash=ac6c3d5f7f3ce183813633d308135cb9

Another way of saying this: I don't think this grant exists.

An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America

by Mohamed Akram

May 19, 1991

View the full document

Summary:

This May 1991 memo was written by Mohamed Akram, a.k.a. Mohamed Adlouni, for the Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood. In the introductory letter, Akram referenced a "long-term plan…approved and adopted" by the Shura Council in 1987 and proposed this memo as a supplement to that plan and requested that the memo be added to the agenda for an upcoming Council meeting. Appended to the document is a list of all Muslim Brotherhood organizations in North America as of 1991.

Notable quotes:

Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims' causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims' efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic state, wherever it is.

In order for Islam and its Movement to become "a part of the homeland" in which it lives, "stable" in its land, "rooted" in the spirits and minds of its people, "enabled" in the live [sic] of its society and has firmly-established "organizations" on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain "the keys" and the tools of this process in carry [sic] out this grand mission as a "Civilization Jihadist" responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.

The process of settlement is a "Civilization-Jihadist Proecess" with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.
