Time to Hold Qatar Accountable
On October 7th, 2023, as Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas and thousands of civilians from Gaza, Qatar’s response was, shockingly, to point the finger at Israel, placing the blame on the very nation that was under attack. As the blood of innocent Israelis stained the streets, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement parroting Hamas’ talking points, shifting the blame to Israel, and echoing Hamas’ propaganda.
This was no slip-up. This was Qatar showing its true colors. Qatar is not the neutral player it pretends to be on the world stage. It is a state sponsor of terrorism, and it has been enabling Hamas for years. Qatar advised Hamas to hold on to the hostages, to ensure their leverage and survival. Qatar has actively supported Hamas through funding, sheltering their leaders, and, worst of all, through a calculated effort to ensure Hamas could survive this crisis. Not only has Qatar used its state-run media outlet, Al Jazeera, as a propaganda tool for Hamas, but Al-Jazeera seem to also be providing material support to Hamas.
Qatar’s complicity doesn’t stop there. As the bodies of innocent babies are returned, Hamas played games with the dead. They returned coffins filled with propaganda, coffins locked with keys that didn’t open, and even paraded the bodies to the world as they handed them over to the Red Cross to intensify the psychological torture, all while Al-Jazeera received exclusive access to broadcast the sadistic event.
Forensic findings confirmed Kfir and Ariel Bibas were brutally murdered in Gaza in November 2023, just a month after their abduction, not an Israeli bombing as claimed by Hamas. The bodies of the two murdered babies were a DNA match, but the body of their mother, Shiri, was not. One of the most depraved acts, Hamas returned the body of an unknown person from Gaza instead of Shiri Bibas.
The Red Cross, in its role as the supposed neutral party, has become complicit in this grotesque charade, never visiting the hostages in over 500 days. In their release, rather than challenging Hamas’ manipulation of the situation or demanding the proper return of the bodies, they have acted as a willing accomplice in the staging of this horrific spectacle. By accepting these manipulated remains—coffins filled with propaganda and locked with keys that don't open—the Red Cross has allowed Hamas to exploit the situation for psychological warfare.
Enough is enough. Qatar has long hidden behind a façade of diplomacy and neutrality, pretending to be a mediator in global conflicts while enabling terror. From their cozy relationship with Hamas to their support of other radical organizations like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, Qatar’s hands are soaked in the blood of innocents. They have aided and abetted terrorist organizations in their quest for global chaos.
And here’s the reality: Qatar is not some distant problem. It is right at the heart of our global security concerns, and yet, they face no real consequences. How long will we allow this state sponsor of terror to get away with murder?
Donald Trump, where are you?
For all the talk of draining the swamp and rooting out bad actors, Qatar’s flagrant support of terrorism should be your focus. It’s time to stop treating Qatar like an ally or a neutral party. They have used their wealth, media, and influence to back Hamas, the very group that took innocent lives and paraded them for political gain. They have shown no remorse, no accountability, and no intention of stopping.
As president who wants to built his reputation on fighting against the forces of radical Islam and terror, it is imperative that you act now to expose Qatar for what it truly is: a rogue state with the blood of innocents on its hands. The U.S. cannot afford to turn a blind eye to Qatar any longer. As a supposed ally of the United States, Qatar must be held accountable for their complicity in these horrific acts.
Mr. Trump, it’s time to act. It’s time to stop Qatar’s dirty games. Impose sanctions. Demand that Qatar’s support for Hamas and other terrorist organizations be brought to an end. Hold them accountable for their role in the death and suffering of so many.
The world is watching. The families are grieving. And Qatar? They’re still playing the game of deception. It’s time to stop them—before they continue to use their resources to fuel more bloodshed.
